About
Emily is an artist, collaborator and interventionist, engaging a multi-disciplinary to her practice which infiltrates both public and private spaces, to create temporary moments in time, fleeting interactions and transient public interventions. Her creative activity is driven by an interest in space, place (and non-place), and the people who convene, engage and interact within these realms. Inspired by the use of text, digital imagery, sound and everyday artifacts, she creates work that is often presented in the public domain or offered in non-conventional art spaces – exploring the production of art and it’s function within wider contexts. Part of the Midland’s based Hive Collective, Emily continues to produce collaborative work and responsive peices, whilst maintaining an ongoing blog showcasing her creative pursuits.
